Exploring the 2024 Honda Prologue

Improved Performance
The most exciting aspect of the upcoming 2024 Honda Prologue is the improved performance. Honda confirms the car will have an EPA-estimated range of over 450 km on a single charge, bringing it in line with market leaders in the EV space. That should be enough to handle weekly commutes and weekend getaways with ease.
The Prologue will also come with DC fast-charging capabilities while on the road. As such, drivers can look forward to driving more and less time waiting in service stations.
Enhanced range is not the only improvement Honda made to the 2024 model, though. Thanks to the underlying manufacturing platform, the Prologue will also offer a fun-to-drive driving experience and various class-leading refinements. Honda promises a powerful electric drive train and carefully tuned suspension for tackling city streets and rugged terrain, all made possible by its advanced, refined auto-making processes.
Spacious And Tech-Filled Interior
On the inside, things get even better. Stepping into the cabin, a modern and spacious interior will greet you, complete with large buttons and intuitive controls. The 2024 Prologue is 200mm longer and 125mm wider than this year’s CR-V, giving owners more space for passengers and cargo and making the vehicle ideal for longer road trips and vacations. The two-tiered center console is also a welcome addition for drivers who want to concentrate more on the road, while the ample storage makes the vehicle a practical, everyday car.
As you might expect from Honda, smart technologies come built-in as standard. The Prologue offers Apple CarPlay and Android Auto for easy smartphone integration. Plus, you get an 11-inch digital instrument display, an 11.3-inch HD touchscreen and Google Maps functionality that estimates charging times and shows you the route to the nearest recharging station.
Rugged Elegance
For the design, Honda’s Los Angeles-based design team took inspiration from virtual reality to create the Prologue’s “neo-rugged” exterior. The SUV will exude performance and capability, owing to its low profile, muscular stance, and massive available 21-inch alloy wheels, once it hits the road.
However, the car’s aerodynamic design is not solely for efficiency. The brand says it will also significantly reduce air noise inside the cabin, enhancing the ride for passengers and drivers.
Safety
Finally, Honda takes safety in the new Prologue seriously and is targeting an NHTSA 5-star rating and IIHS Top Safety Pick+. To achieve these accolades, the automaker is packing the new Prologue with its state-of-the-art safety suite, including Cross Traffic Braking and Blind Zone Steering Assist.
