Vehicle Modification for the Disabled Program
Honda now offers up to $1,000 reimbursement for the conversion of any new Honda vehicle for use by disabled persons. Persons who have a physical disability that requires some modification to their vehicle to permit them to drive the vehicle (e.g. installation of hand controls) qualify for a rebate under some conditions.
Details:
- The vehicle must be new and previously unregistered (demonstrators accepted).
- The modification must be necessary due to their physical disability.
- Any work sublet must be to a qualified and authorized facility.
- The modification should be done by, or arranged through, the Honda dealer where they purchased the vehicle.
Please note that no assistance is paid to the dealer for vehicle modification sales to the disabled persons, therefore the dealer should sell the vehicle at a price agreed upon between the two parties exclusive of the vehicle modification.
All claims are subject to audit and should any discrepancy occur, a charge-back to the dealer may be applied. How reserves the right to amend or terminate this program at any time by giving 30 days' notice.
Some conditions apply. See our dealership for details.
